Terre des hommes
Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation that works towards improving the situation of children internationally. Tdh has had continuous field presence in Romania since 1992. Domains of activity have included maternal and child health (prevention of maternal abandonment, primary and secondary prevention of drug abuse), and child protection (children in street situation, children in conflict with the law, prevention of school abandonment, anti-trafficking initiatives, building and reinforcing child protection systems at municipal and regional levels). Tdh is a leading organisation in child protection systems, social assistance reform and psychosocial activities with children.
